Scheduled for June 24, 2026, at the Dusit Thani Lakeview Cairo, the prestigious annual awards ceremony celebrates outstanding achievements, innovation, and leadership within Egypt’s rapidly evolving construction and infrastructure sectors.
This year’s event highlights a significant shift in the industry, with new entrants making up 42% of the finalists, signaling that fresh talent and emerging players are increasingly driving the future of Egypt’s built environment.
Judged by an independent panel of industry experts, senior government officials, and academic leaders, the awards place a powerful emphasis on sustainable development and environmental responsibility.
Prominent industry leaders, including Dr. Hala Omar of the Egypt Green Building Council and Eng. Ahmed Kamal Abdelmoneim of the Federation of Egyptian Industries (FEI-ECO), noted that this year’s finalists reflect a profound transformation toward resilience and green building practices as integral elements of modern Egyptian infrastructure planning.
The comprehensive 2026 program features highly competitive categories, including “Contractor of the Year,” which sees heavyweights like Orascom Construction, Hassan Allam Construction, and The Arab Contractors vying for the top spot. Landmark developments are also competing for “Infrastructure Project of the Year,” showcasing mega-projects like the Greater Cairo Metro Line 3 (Phase 3) and the Smart Water & Irrigation Networks in the New Administrative Capital.
