Al Salem Holding, a diversified multi-sector group, has announced an ambitious strategic roadmap to increase its total investment portfolio in Egypt to EGP 50 billion over the next five years.
This represents a 234% growth from its current investment base of EGP 15 billion, underscoring the firm’s deep confidence in the Egyptian market’s resilience and long-term potential.
Dr. Bahaa Salem, Chairman of Al Salem Holding, announced the expansion during a media visit to the group’s “Blue Side Hub” in Marina 5, North Coast.
The project, developed in partnership with Imarrae Developments, exemplifies the company’s commitment to transforming the North Coast into a year-round destination.
Dr. Salem emphasized that the project supports the national vision to unify the region’s tourism identity and revitalize upscale coastal experiences.
Since 2019, under Dr. Salem’s leadership, the group has undergone a comprehensive operational transformation, restructuring its governance and streamlining processes to fuel growth.
Currently operating across six core sectors—including real estate, healthcare, food and beverage, automotive, consulting, and hospitality—Al Salem Holding has successfully delivered over 150,000 sqm of residential, commercial, and administrative space.
Key milestones include the delivery of 1,500 residential units, the development of major administrative towers, and the expansion of the “Pizza 88” chain into international markets, including Oman.
Furthermore, the group’s financial arm, Orca Consulting, has facilitated over EGP 8 billion in capital financing, cementing the firm’s role as a key contributor to Egypt’s broader economic development.
With recent approval from the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) to operate as a holding company, Al Salem is well-positioned to aggressively pursue its upcoming developments in New Cairo and across the Delta region.
