Kuwait Airways Resumes Flights to Sphinx International Airport

Kuwait Airways has announced it will resume scheduled commercial flights from Kuwait International Airport (T4) to Sphinx International Airport in Cairo, starting May 10, according to local newspapers.

The service will operate three times per week.

Acting CEO Abdulwahab Al-Shatti stated that this resumption is part of a strategy to increase operational flexibility and meet the rising demand for travel to Egypt.

With this addition, the airline’s Egyptian network now includes:

Cairo International Airport: Two daily flights.

Sphinx International Airport: Three weekly flights.

Sohag Airport: Two weekly flights.

Al-Shatti emphasized that expanding services from Terminal 4 reflects the carrier’s commitment to operational efficiency and enhanced passenger experiences.

He noted that the airline will continue to monitor demand, potentially adding special flights or increasing capacity on high-traffic routes to ensure convenient travel options across its regional network.
