King Charles and Queen Camilla have begun their official state visit, hosted by President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump.
The pair touched down at Joint Base Andrew in Maryland, kicking off the four-day trip, which includes an address to Congress—the first of its kind since Queen Elizabeth II addressed Congress in 1991.
The occasion was kicked off by a private tea between King Charles, Queen Camilla, and the Trumps.
Following Tuesday evening, King Charles and Queen Camilla will travel to New York, where they will visit the 9/11 Memorial and meet with Mayor Zohran Mamdani before concluding in Virginia for an “America at 250 block party,” in honor of the country’s upcoming anniversary.
