The event will take place in Alamein City from June 21 to 24, 2026, under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

Strengthening African Economic Integration

The partnership between Egypt and Afreximbank remains robust, with the Bank providing approximately US$9.5 billion in financing to Egypt over the last three years. Key ongoing projects include the US$250 million African Trade Centre in the New Administrative Capital and a new initiative to establish a pan-African Gold Bank to strengthen central bank reserves across the continent.

Economic Impact and Event Agenda

Hosting AAM2026 in Alamein is expected to boost Egypt’s tourism and MICE sectors while positioning the country as a premier regional hub for finance and business. The four-day program will feature:

High-level policy dialogues and plenary sessions.

Business forums and deal-signing ceremonies.

Discussions on the AfCFTA, digital transformation, and energy infrastructure.
