Engineer Essam El-Naggar, Chairman of the General Organization for Export and Import Control (GOEIC), has inaugurated the 86th edition of the “Nelly Kids” exhibition under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry and the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade.
Spanning 30,000 square meters, the premier event brings together 300 manufacturing plants to showcase high-quality children’s wear that rivals international standards.
The exhibition serves as a major strategic platform, drawing high-level delegations from 13 countries—including Russia—alongside approximately 800 international buyers and key figures from the Federation of Egyptian Industries.
Business strategists and organizers project that the event will drive over $50 million in direct export contracts, with actual figures potentially doubling as post-exhibition negotiations finalize.
Industry leaders emphasize that this year’s edition strategically targets emerging markets like Russia, capitalizing on rising production costs in competing regions like Turkey.
With robust institutional backing, “Nelly Kids” aims to bridge local producers directly with global buyers, reinforcing national goals to significantly expand Egypt’s industrial exports.
