The UAE has issued a firm condemnation following an Iranian attack on a national oil tanker operated by ADNOC.
The vessel was targeted by two drones while transiting the Strait of Hormuz; fortunately, no injuries were reported during the incident.
In an official statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs characterized the assault as a “flagrant violation” of UN Security Council Resolution 2817.
The Ministry underscored that the resolution explicitly protects the freedom of navigation and rejects any actions that target commercial shipping or disrupt vital international maritime corridors.
