CIRA Education’s Saxony Egypt University Partners with Ministry of Labour to Revolutionize Technical Training

In a strategic move to bridge the gap between technical education and labour market demands, Saxony Egypt University (SEU) has signed a landmark cooperation protocol with the Egyptian Ministry of Labour. This partnership seeks to align vocational training with the requirements of Egypt’s evolving industrial sectors, supporting the nation’s Vision 2030 goals of building a highly skilled, future-ready workforce.

The agreement leverages SEU’s applied education model—where 60% of the curriculum focuses on practical, hands-on learning—and extends it to the Ministry’s nationwide network of training centres. By combining the Ministry’s reach with SEU’s industry-aligned teaching methods, the initiative aims to directly address the skill shortages reported in critical sectors, such as manufacturing and mobility. A key highlight of this collaboration is the planned development of a specialized training center for the electric-vehicle (EV) trade, positioning Egypt at the forefront of modern mobility.

“This protocol represents a significant step in making high-quality technical education more accessible,” stated Dr. Hassan El Kalla, Chairman of CIRA Education. The initiative includes a joint committee to oversee trainee progression and curriculum evolution, ensuring that training pathways remain responsive to shifting industry needs. By providing certified, practical training that leads directly to employment, SEU and the Ministry are creating robust opportunities for youth and working professionals alike.
