ADD Properties, a subsidiary of Sami Saad Holding, has signed a landmark $265 million syndicated financing facility arranged by international, regional, and Egyptian financial institutions.
The agreement reflects institutional backing for Egypt’s tourism sector and supports ADD Properties’ long-term expansion strategy.
The financing package was provided by a syndicate including the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the International Finance Corporation (IFC), Emirates NBD Egypt, and the National Bank of Egypt (NBE), with EFG Holding acting as financial advisor.
The transaction restructures ADD Properties’ capital structure while funding its flagship development—a 400-key Grand Hyatt hotel directly overlooking the Grand Egyptian Museum and the Pyramids of Giza.
Anchored in sustainability and Egypt Vision 2030, the project incorporates technical assistance for LEED Silver green building certifications, youth hospitality training programs, and enhanced corporate governance across the developer’s hospitality portfolio.
