
In a significant move for regional defense cooperation, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced the first-ever deployment of Egyptian military forces on its soil.
The announcement followed a high-profile visit by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to Abu Dhabi.

Joint Military Inspection: President al-Sisi and UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan (MBZ) personally inspected the Egyptian fighter jet detachment currently stationed in the Emirates.
Operational Readiness: The leaders reviewed the detachment’s combat readiness and discussed ongoing efforts to enhance integrated operational capabilities.
Defense Cooperation: The deployment aims to strengthen the collective response to regional security challenges and underscores the deepening military alliance between Cairo and Abu Dhabi.
