The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) population is projected to hit 62.8 million in 2025, according to the latest bulletin from the GCC Statistical Center (GCC-Stat).
Following a steady increase from 56.6 million in 2022, the region has maintained an average annual growth rate of 3.5%.
The data highlights a predominantly youthful demographic, with individuals aged 15-34 making up 38.2% of the total population, while the working-age group (15-64) accounts for 76.7%.
As the region moves toward an estimated 83.6 million people by 2050, officials emphasize that this young workforce is a critical driver for sustainable economic development and future productivity.
