Madinet Masr Awards EGP 1.38 Billion in Construction Contracts for Origami at Taj City

Madinet Masr (EGX: MASR.CA) has officially announced the awarding of new construction contracts worth approximately EGP 1.38 billion for its Origami project within Taj City, Cairo.
This strategic milestone forms a vital component of the company’s aggressive 2026 development agenda, which targets a total of EGP 18 billion in contract awards for the year—with nearly EGP 9.8 billion already secured to date.
Spanning a total built-up area of approximately 78,760 square meters across 271 buildings, Origami features an exclusive collection of villas, twin houses, and townhouses ranging from 152 to 606 square meters.
Inspired by the Japanese art of origami, the project showcases striking minimalist white architecture and clean lines to deliver a contemporary urban lifestyle.
Highlighting the company’s momentum, Eng. Abdallah Sallam, President and CEO of Madinet Masr, emphasized that these partnerships ensure efficient, high-standard execution aligned with strict project timelines, further reinforcing Taj City’s status as a premier integrated community in Egypt.
