Saudi Health Ministry Sets 10-Day Vaccination Deadline for Hajj 2026

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Health has announced a mandatory vaccination deadline for all Hajj pilgrims, requiring all necessary shots to be administered at least 10 days before the start of the Hajj season.

This window ensures pilgrims achieve the required immune response to perform their rituals safely in high-density areas.

Essential Vaccines and Requirements

To curb the spread of infection, the Ministry has highlighted three critical vaccinations for this season:

Meningococcal (Meningitis)

COVID-19

Seasonal Influenza

Safe Access via Sehhaty App

Pilgrims can easily book appointments through the Sehhaty app under “Adult Immunization Clinic” services.

The Ministry confirmed that these vaccines meet rigorous safety standards and can be administered simultaneously or separately.

Notably, these health guidelines are confirmed safe for pregnant women, ensuring comprehensive protection for all participants.

Strengthening Preventive Health

These measures are part of Saudi Arabia’s proactive strategy to minimize health risks and provide a secure environment for millions of worshippers.

By prioritizing early immunization, the Ministry aims to facilitate a healthy and seamless Hajj experience for the global Muslim community.
