Tensions have escalated sharply along Yemen’s front lines and across the region following a surge in fighting between Iran-backed Houthi rebels and the Saudi-led coalition supporting Yemen’s internationally recognized government.
The renewed military escalation has triggered heavy combat casualties, particularly in contested areas such as Marib, Taiz, and along the Red Sea coast.
In response to ongoing coalition operations, the Houthi movement has launched a series of retaliatory cross-border drone and missile strikes targeting infrastructure within Saudi Arabia.
The intensified hostilities continue to pose severe humanitarian challenges, complicating aid delivery and exacerbating displacement and supply shortages for civilians caught in the crossfire.
