Sandoz Appoints Dragos Toma as Country Head for Egypt and Libya
Sandoz, a global leader in generic and biosimilar medicines, has officially appointed Dragos Toma as Country Head for Egypt and Libya.
Bringing over 21 years of pharmaceutical industry experience—including more than 13 years at Sandoz—Toma assumes the role to drive growth, advance local manufacturing, and strengthen healthcare partnerships across both markets.
Toma brings deep expertise in healthcare policy and patient access, having previously led the Biosimilars and Prescription Medicines Business Unit at Sandoz Romania, as well as serving as Interim Country Head there.
Commenting on his new role, Toma emphasized his commitment to collaborating with local authorities, healthcare professionals, and regional teams to enhance capabilities and expand access to high-quality, affordable medicines for patients across Egypt and Libya.
