Vodafone Egypt Secures Company-Wide ISO/IEC 27001 Certification for Cybersecurity Excellence

Vodafone Egypt has officially achieved company-wide ISO/IEC 27001 certification, marking a major milestone in its commitment to cybersecurity.
This internationally recognized accreditation validates that the company’s entire organization—beyond individual systems—operates under a comprehensive security framework.
By embedding cybersecurity into its decision-making, operational processes, and governance, Vodafone Egypt ensures that the data, communications, and financial transactions of its 55 million customers are protected by the highest global standards.
As Egypt evolves into a regional hub for data and artificial intelligence, this certification acts as a strategic foundation for growth.
It complements the company’s existing portfolio of security credentials, including ISO/IEC 27017, PCI-DSS for its 28 million-user Vodafone Cash platform, and SOC 2 Type II.
Built upon a cumulative investment of over EGP 125 billion in national infrastructure, this achievement underscores Vodafone Egypt’s dedication to providing a secure, resilient digital ecosystem that empowers businesses and individuals to thrive with confidence in an increasingly digital economy.
