Edafa Venture Acquires Two AI Startups in Strategic Push for Regional Innovation

Edafa Venture has officially announced the acquisition of two high-potential AI startups, Kuadra and IRRI Vision, in a series of six-figure deals revealed during the AI Everything Middle East & Africa exhibition in Cairo (February 11–12, 2026).
This strategic move underscores Edafa Venture’s commitment to fostering the regional AI ecosystem by supporting homegrown innovation and accelerating the deployment of advanced technology across critical sectors.
The acquisitions target two distinct yet impactful industries: Kuadra, which specializes in AI-driven smart operating systems to optimize large-scale construction project management, and IRRI Vision, a health-tech company focused on enhancing diagnostic precision through intelligent medical tools.
By integrating these startups, Edafa Venture aims to scale these solutions and solidify Egypt’s role as a burgeoning hub for technological development and export within the MENA region.
Essam Aly, CEO of Edafa Venture, emphasized that these transactions represent a broader shift in the regional landscape, where Egypt is increasingly transitioning from a consumer of digital solutions to a creator of comprehensive innovation.
Aly noted that the AI Everything platform served as a vital catalyst for these partnerships, providing the necessary environment to transform innovative concepts into tangible, high-value investment opportunities that drive long-term growth in the AI sector.
