Lafarge Egypt, a leading provider of innovative building materials and a member of the global Holcim Group, has officially announced its rebranding to Holcim Egypt.
Backed by an asset portfolio exceeding EGP 8 billion since commencing operations in 1997, this step marks the beginning of a new strategic chapter focused on innovation, decarbonization, and reinforcing Egypt’s role as a pivotal market within Holcim’s global strategy.
The transition reflects the natural evolution of the company’s business model beyond traditional cement and concrete supply.

By offering tailored technical expertise, engineering consultancy, and low-carbon products, the company strengthens its position as a strategic partner to Egypt’s infrastructure growth and the objectives of Egypt Vision 2030.
Supported by an advanced industrial platform, Holcim Egypt operates one of the MENA region’s largest cement plants in Ain Sokhna—boasting five production lines with an annual capacity of 9.5 million tons—alongside over 10 ready-mix concrete plants and Geocycle Egypt for eco-friendly waste management.
