The parliamentary approval follows a series of confidential general sessions held in accordance with Article 152 of the Egyptian Constitution and Article 130 of the parliament’s internal bylaws, following consultations with the National Defense Council.
This legislative step grants the leadership the mandate to deploy defensive military capabilities to safeguard shared regional security.
