VIE Communities Signs Strategic MoU with Telecom Egypt (WE) to Power Smart Infrastructure Across Its Projects
VIE Communities, a rising powerhouse in the Egyptian real estate market, has officially signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MoU) with WE, Egypt’s first integrated telecom operator and the nation’s largest digital infrastructure provider.
The partnership aims to develop and deploy cutting-edge digital infrastructure and smart connectivity systems across all of VIE Communities’ developments, starting with the flagship project, Vie Collective in New Cairo, as part of the company’s vision to deliver futuristic, integrated urban communities.
Advanced Fiber-Optic Connectivity and Smart Home Solutions
The agreement was signed by Dr. Haitham Samir, CEO of VIE Communities, and Mr. Mohamed El-Touny, Chief Commercial Officer (Residential) at WE. Under the partnership, WE will implement advanced Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) technology within the Vie Collective project, ensuring high-speed internet, and “Triple Play” services—encompassing high-speed data, fixed-line telephony, and IPTV.
Furthermore, the collaboration will integrate comprehensive digital solutions, including Home Automation systems and a dedicated Community Mobile App, designed to enhance the resident experience and optimize service delivery through smart, interconnected technology.
