Saudi Arabia, has officially announced its expansion for the summer 2026 season.
Running from June through September, the airline is introducing eight premier international routes designed to cater to seasonal travel demand.
This year’s lineup features high-traffic holiday spots, including El Alamein in Egypt, Salalah in Oman, Antalya and Bodrum in Türkiye, Nice in France, Athens and Mykonos in Greece, and Málaga in Spain.
The selection of these destinations is part of a calculated effort to optimize Saudia’s global network, which now spans over 100 locations.
By scheduling flights for peak efficiency, the airline aims to balance high summer demand with the complex logistical requirements of the Hajj season and Eid Al-Adha, which coincide with the 2026 summer period.
This ensures a seamless travel experience for both international tourists and pilgrims passing through Saudi airports.
This expansion aligns with the Saudi Aviation Strategy and the National Transport and Logistics Strategy.
To support this growth, Saudia is leveraging its current fleet of 149 aircraft, with an additional 116 new planes scheduled for delivery in the near future.
By strengthening its international presence and connecting the Kingdom to key global markets—specifically highlighting Egypt as a primary regional destination—Saudia continues to solidify its role as a competitive leader in the global aviation industry.
